 About Norloch
What can we say? we've been doing this for over 15 years :-)
Well we have played over 700 gigs and made a lot of people dance themselves happy...
Even people who've never danced before have danced at our gigs, but we do have Mike Slessor (our special 'dance caller') to demonstrate and sometimes we also let him dance...here he is (he's the male fiddle player too)
Mike has also played with Absent Friends, various other bands and the Edinburgh Light Orchestra & various string quartets, what can I say he is good..
 Sheena plays in the The Stirling String classical Duo, Trio & Quartet, and is an excellent folk artist (a rare combination, how many folk musicians also play classical? and we have two of them). Here's a photo of The Stirling String Quartet:

Sheena also led The Edinburgh Light Orchestra for bookings at The Queens Hall, Edinburgh. A classical CD demo is available on request. Sheena also professionally teaches fiddle playing, is there no end to her talents?

That is me below Dave Albiston (Dave@norloch.net) guitarist and one of the two singers in the band. Phil Condie and I are the two remaining founder members of Norloch
I am also a songwriter and have written a number of songs with Philip over the years
We recently formed a new band - the
Blue Fox Knights
  Phil and Dave also used to run local open music sessions to encourage other musicians and just have some fun, you may have seen them in the past at The Sands Hotel and Granny's Attic in Portobello, or Homes Bar or Carriers Quarters in Leith
